Growing up in Gladstone we fondly remember cracking the top off a bottle of Ward’s Soft Drink, sparkling pineapple, orange, cherry cheer, ginger ale and creaming soda to name a few favourites.

That’s the feeling we’re hoping to capture with every beer poured at this historic former cordial factory, as we proudly write a new chapter for Ward’s and the Gladstone community.

Slide open the old timber doors of the 100-year-old factory on Auckland Street and you’ll still find fruity flavours, like our hoppy IPA inspired by Queensland’s tropical climate and a cleansing lager to quench your thirst.

In the heart of Gladstone we’ve transformed the space into a laidback brewpub with local food, good vibes and great beer.

But Ward’s Brewery is about more than beer. It’s about our community, our heritage and our dreams.

Drop in and say g’day, bring old friends or make new ones, and taste our flavoursome craft beers at the source.
